How Does HIFU Work?
HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy beneath the skin at selected depths. The energy creates small, controlled points of thermal stimulation within the targeted tissue. This initiates the body's natural repair and collagen-remodelling response. Over time, newly remodelled collagen can contribute to a firmer and more supported appearance. Unlike treatments that primarily work on the skin's surface, HIFU can be delivered to deeper tissue planes, depending on the device and treatment protocol.
 
HIFU is not simply a one-setting treatment. Energy depth, intensity and treatment pattern can be adjusted according to facial anatomy, skin laxity and the desired outcome.

HIFU results develop gradually rather than appearing immediately. As collagen remodelling takes place, the skin may progressively appear firmer, tighter and more defined.
