ABOUT:
Ellansé is an injectable dermal filler that combines immediate volume restoration with long-term collagen stimulation. It is formulated with polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) gel carrier.
Unlike conventional fillers that primarily provide volume through the injected material, Ellansé is designed to support the body's natural collagen production over time.
The treatment helps restore facial volume, improve contour definition and soften the appearance of selected facial lines and wrinkles, creating a more refreshed and youthful-looking appearance.

Why Polycaprolactone (PCL)
Polycaprolactone is a biodegradable polymer used in medical applications. In Ellansé, PCL is formulated into smooth microspheres suspended in a CMC gel carrier.
The gel provides immediate volume and correction, while the PCL microspheres act as a scaffold that supports the formation of new collagen over time.
Both components are gradually broken down and cleared by the body.
How Does Ellansé Work?
Ellansé works in two stages.
1. Immediate Volume Restoration
The CMC gel carrier provides immediate volume and helps restore definition to areas affected by facial volume loss.
2. Gradual Collagen Stimulation
Following treatment, the PCL microspheres support the body's natural collagen formation. As the gel carrier is gradually absorbed, collagen develops around the microspheres, helping maintain structural support and facial contours over time.
The result will continue to evolve as collagen forms, with the aim of achieving natural-looking facial enhancement.
